About Eleven Plus Exams
Eleven Plus Exams was founded in 2004 through the efforts of a single father attempting to help his son achieve his dream of attending a highly-regarded local grammar school. He established an online learning platform and forum for him and his son to access wherever they were. By the time his son had passed his exam, tens of thousands of parents had begun utilising the same resources he had, and engaging in lively forum discussions.
The website stayed open – now its purpose was to be a free public service, requiring no membership to use, to help other parents and their children navigate the 11 plus process.

Every parent will come to understand that the 11 plus exam is quite unforgiving. Unlike GCSE, A-Levels and even degrees where re-sits are permitted, you only get one attempt at securing entry into your choice of grammar or independent selective school education for your child. But preparation can be difficult when information available online is limited and tutors and other ‘11 plus’ parents are guarding what they know like it is classified information.
The objective of this website was to provide all the information and materials needed to fully prepare a child for the 11 plus exam. We were the first such website and our reputation has grown such that we are now recommended by most professionals and experts in the 11 plus field.
